THE TESTING & TAGGING PROCESS

• Insulation tests
- Earth circuit tests
- Continuity tests
- Run/leakage tests
- Polarity wire test
- Visual inspections as per (AS 3760)
- Checking for obvious external damage
- Checking for defects in accessories, plugs or socket outlets
- Checking defects on connectors
- Checking supply cords
- Checking cords aren’t exposed, cut, abraded or damaged
- Checking cords are not tangled or exposed
- Ensuring all flexible cords are securely anchored; and power board indicator for ‘maximum load’ is visible and legible
