Ever since I received an 'electric shock' after curiously sticking my fingers into a lamp holder at the age of 10, I have been intrigued by electricity. The opportunity to commence my Electrical Apprenticeship at the age of 16 came about and I have never looked back. At the age of 24, I achieved my goal of setting up an electrical contracting business.
I have put a lot of focus and energy into ensuring ANE Electrics holds a strong presence in the industry. Leading a young team in a competitive market place has its own challenges, however by guiding our apprentices though the early years of their career and helping the development of the industry I am still working toward my main goal.
My career has been focused in the accounts and administration field. I am looking forward to helping the ANE team simplify processes and streamlining office operations. My biggest career achievement to date has been overseeing 34 employees from various departments and implementing an entirely new administration system.
I have been a part of the ANE team for the last 6 years and really love the people I work with and enjoy the environment I work in. I aspire to set up and run a new inventory system.
My biggest achievement while working at ANE is ensuring all materials are organised and onsite for all our major projects and taking over the warehouse management and stock control for all outgoing material orders.
I selected this trade because I had a background in electronics. I decided on the path of an electrician so that I could work in different areas and locations. It is my career goal to be successful and fulfil job requirements. It has been a career highlight for me to complete jobs for Dan Murphy’s, Myers-Hobart, Coles Service Stations & ALH Group Australia wide.
I have always enjoyed working in a job that challenges me both personally and professionally, I chose to be an electrician because the industry challenges me on a daily basis. My career goals are to grow ANE's Service Department and to fully manage the process from the office while still growing the service team to coordinate field jobs.
I have two achievements in my career that I am very proud of firstly, becoming a fully qualified electrician and secondly, becoming ANE Electrics Service Manager.
Obtaining my A grade and REC licence was a great achievement for me at 22 years old, now 10 years later I still enjoy the electrical trade furthering my skills and keeping up to date with the ever changing trade and electrical regulations.
Working across a variety of jobs I have had the opportunity working on the small jobs like an additional power point to the large scale workshops entailing CT metering and three phase power through out, with no two jobs the same it gives a great sense of pride completing a job and signing off on the electrical certification at the end.
I am a family man, great at communicating and always ensure that I put client's requests and needs first.I chose the electrical industry originally as a pathway towards property development.
My career goals are to continue to deliver top quality workmanship for every job no matter how big or small. My biggest achievement in my career would be being able to help others, apprentices, clients and builders.
The electrical trade originally drew me in for the security of a licensed trade, and I locked myself in after falling in love with the variety of work, the theory behind the work and the work itself.
My goals after becoming licensed are to continue happily working with ANE whilst running my own company on the side to help people and communities affected by natural disasters and those less fortunate.
I decided to choose the electrical industry because I have always taken an interest in the electrical aspect of trade, I enjoy problem solving
My career goal is to aim for leadership and to one day run a job site. My biggest career achievements are roughing in a three story apartment at Braybrook and passing my trade school exams.
My future goals are to complete an electrical apprenticeship and gain a qualification.
To gain as much knowledge and skill as possible in the industry (especially renewables).
To make a difference.
It is to early to say what my biggest achievement in my career will be but I am proud of completing the electrical pre app during covid (that was a challenge in itself)
I chose the electrical industry as I always found an interest in electricity and always had an interest in completing a trade.
My career goal is to obtain my A-Grade license and to one day maybe start a business of my own.
My biggest achievement in my career would be completing year 12 VCE and graduation high school.
With a background in construction & facilities management I developed an interest in Electrical. After engaging and developing a rapport with ANE, I found the professionalism, communication and attention to detail that comes with the trade, it would be a great career change.
Now with a passion for all aspects of electrical I wish to provide the best service.
